One Fun Filled Weekend!

What a well rounded fun weekend filled with great people, great laughs and wonderful memories made! Now that's life! It started off with Jeff and Brian cashing in their Christmas gifts from us - gift cards to Highland's Bar and Grill for a future double date. Very nice signature dining in Birmingham that you will see highlighted in Southern Living many times. They were sweet to celebrate our news of finding out "It's a Girl!"

Little did I know that's the last time I would wear those pants this side of parenthood.

The next morning I got to run 5 miles with Celeste and Lea to help raise money for the . It's a special place to me as I get to visit there occasionally and evaluate people who need new custom wheelchairs. Thanks for going more miles with me friends! More to come! Our "after" shot:

We progressed to great afternoon spent with Dawn and Billy Kirkland
taking in a play done by one of our favorite writers, Tyler Perry....Madea's Big Happy Family Read his story and you'll know why we respect him and enjoy his stuff so much. He takes real life and deals with it in reality and with God's truth and does so with talent! Dawn and Billy were wonderful to spend time with. Dawn is our realtor turned friend and Billy is her wonderful husband, who have been through thick and thin and can tell you that God is real and is a Healer! Thanks for a great time and for showing us how to dine at Whole Foods. Neat experience! Looking forward to our next visit!

By the time Sunday rolled around we had been encouraged and our faces were sore from laughing. We feel so blessed by all the friends in our life!
