January 2018 - DISNEY!

fCLICK ON RED HYPERLINKS TO SEE PICTURES January was fast and fun. The big highlight was the first trip to Disney World! Claire and Joel found out Christmas morning that 12 days later they would meet Grandmommy and Granddaddy, Uncle Bobby and Uncle Bob in Orlando for 3 full days at Disney! What a fun adventure! Staying at the Art of Animation in a Little Mermaid room was a hit. 2 days at Magic Kingdom and one day at Animal Kingdom was just enough. The Meal plan was perfect! The weather started out chilly but warmed up nicely. The crowds were still there but manageable due to the Disney Marathon and the schools in the Northeast still out on holiday. The Double Stroller was a must and the monorail did not disappoint. Claire lost a tooth while there and all stayed healthy until the next morning after getting home when Joel got the flu and lovingly passed it to me the next day. Overall a mild to moderate case of it considering the epidemic we had this year. An enormous thanks to Holly our Disney Planner who made the Carver Epic Adventure a success! DISNEY After Disney we continued with Upward basketball, Jeff and I had birthdays in there somewhere and just other blips of fun throughout. January Highlights 2018 is off to a great start!
