So Claire is 15-16 weeks old in these pix. She's been in day care 4 weeks now and done great. No illnesses yet but I feel like we could any day. Maybe that is mommy-itis anticipating things based on what you hear. We continue to navigate life with a newborn and are doing well. She eats 5 times per day and sleeps well at night. She is active and loves music. She's babbling and cooing and squealing and laughing. We spent her first Thanksgiving at my mom's house with her husband Jim and his 2 daughters, Jamie and Jennifer and families. It was nice to spend Thanksgiving weekend at home and enjoy putting up the Christmas tree together. (Cathy's philosophy on Christmas decoration: If it takes more than an hour to put out, it's too much. What goes out has to be put back up! Let's keep the joy in it and keep it simple!) Note pictures with special people: Corinne is a dear friend who taught me all I know about teaching Sunday School and telling folks about Christ. Pam and Mary Morgan are my cousins who kept Claire one night so Jeff and I could have a "date night". THANK YOU! Ya Ya is my mom who hosted Thanksgiving this year. Caroline is the newborn daughter of my friend and coworker Kate. Kate and I used to run together after work a couple of days a week and now we share the world of motherhood. We'll get the jog strollers out this spring I'm sure! Welcome Caroline - Claire will be happy to show you around.
