Labor Day in Baton Rouge
We loaded up and headed to Baton Rouge for the long weekend. The kids traveled well...except Claire didn't nap long in the car...oh the days when we looked forward to travel for selfish reasons such as conversation when she slept...but we get to talk to her now. We'll take it. It's always a treat to visit Grandad, Muh and Uncle Bobby. This trip it was Joel's first time to meet Uncle Bobby's dog, McGyver (standard poodle). It was nothing to Joel! Other highlights were Claire and Joel went to see Mike, the Tiger and Claire got to go ride the carousel at the mall. Claire found their game closet and got to learn games such as Connect Four, Memory and Candyland. She seems to love games! Still have to work on rules but you know you have to start small :) Thanks for a fun weekend!
