'Tis the Season

Merry Christmas to everyone! Here's a few pictures of how we have been having a little fun these holidays! It sure came quick after a late Thanksgiving! You'll see photos from the annual Breland Santa Party. Claire always loves seeing her friends from her old day care, Cathedral, BUT she still wants to keep Santa at a distance - that is why you only see Joel in Santa's lap! We had fun decorating the tree and hanging our stockings. My friend Heather told us about an ebook called TRUTH IN THE TINSEL that we have been doing with Claire each night to keep her/us all focused during this season. You make an easy ornament and read from the Bible and it is really fun. When we got married we bought 4 stockings and had our names put on them and in faith hoped and prayed we'd have names for the other 2...as you see, thanks to the Lord, our stockings are full and hanging with joy! You'll see some photos from a trip to McWane Center to ride the train and our friends Beth and Sophie met us there. Joel went to school that morning and Claire and I had some fun times together. You'll see Claire and Joel eating soup at my work Christmas dinner at the Pearman house and Claire having fun learning to do puzzles with Daddy. He's a great teacher of strategy! And last but not least - Christmas PJs! How fun and cute! We are gearing up to have lots of family coming through over the next week or so and some good food and memories to be made...only because we get to celebrate not just the birth of Christ, but his Deity! Gloria in Excelsis Deo!
