We had the honor of hosting Jeff's parents (Jim and Doris) and his Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Bob. I am so blessed to have the most wonderful in-laws. We got to show them around our new home and just sit around the table and visit. I think that's my favorite thing about this family...just sitting around talking! We enjoy good conversation and learning about each other and laughing about memories revolving around where we ate (family joke!). We toured them around UAB and saw the Civil Rights Institute. It's a great museum that makes you thankful for how far we've come and how far we have to go. It's hard to believe we let skin color have an influence on how we view people! Not good!
We enjoyed having them worship at Hunter Street with us. The Lord has blessed us beyond measure with loving, supporting, generous family and we love you! Come back to see us, ya here?!
