One Month Old - Family Visits from La and N.C.
Claire turned one month old on Saturday and got a visit from her Nana and Papa from Baton Rouge and her Great Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Bob from Charlotte. The majority of the weekend was spent watching Claire and watching football but mainly watching her! Everyone got to hold her and feed her a bottle and bounce her around if she fussed. Wait a minute, did everyone change a diaper?!? :)) We took her to church for the first time on Sunday and sat in the back in the event she wanted to try to sing in the choir. No offense to the pastor, but she slept through the whole thing! It was good for us to be back worshiping with our church family and see friends. It's different trying to keep up at home vs being there. She can go to the nursery after her shots in a couple of weeks. Sun afternoon we took her to the gym so Daddy could workout and we (Nana, Papa, and Mommy) walked around the track as she slept in the Baby Bjorn. Nana and Papa kept her Sun night so Jeff and I could go out to dinner. It was nice to be out just the 2 of us. What did we talk about before she came along? We are not due to see Nana and Papa again until November but not sure we can all wait that long. Anyone want to bet there will be another interim visit? Thanks everyone for coming to visit! Looking forward to more! We love you all. For those who are concerned, maroon and white outfits are on the way!! She'll be well balanced!
