Visit Daddy's office

Claire made her first trip to Tuscaloosa to have lunch at The Ferg with daddy and let daddy show her off to his coworkers. We met office staff and fellow professors and his graduate students. It was fun! It's always good to check out daddy's world. Claire did well on the nearly 1 hour drive but I got nervous on the way home when traffic came to a standstill on I 20 30 min from home. Thankfully she was peaceful. I had visions of walking and bouncing her up and down the shoulder of the road if we were stuck for a while. Thankfully she'd just eaten! Moral: Have plenty of milk on hand just in case! The delay was only about 15 min but lots runs through your mind in 15 min when "baby is on board!"
