Palm Sunday through the heart of a 2 year old

Sunday's conversation after Jeff and Claire got home from church: Mommy: "Tell Joel what you made in Sunday school." Claire: "It's a palm branch." Mommy: "Who is it for?" Claire: "The King." Mommy: "What do we celebrate at Easter?" Claire has inquisitive look on her face... Mommy prompting Claire to get her to repeat each word: "Jesus...rose...from...the...(Pause for an answer)______" Claire: Pausing to ponder..."My heart." Mommy: "No, Jesus rose from the dead." Claire: "No, Jesus is in my heart." Mommy: "We pray He will live there one day soon." Claire: Pulling the collar of her shirt away from her chest and looking down her shirt "Jesus, are you in there?" Waiting for an answer...then she says,"Yes, Mommy He's in there!" We just smiled....
