Disney, Dear, and Decaf
We had a busy weekend last weekend...It started on Friday with Jeff and I taking Claire for her 1st experience with Disney on Ice: Princesses and Heroes. You know, one of the best things about having kids is seeing life through their eyes. What fun to hear her excitement when Minnie and Mickey came out and the anticipation of seeing Aerial and the beloved Cinderella. It was a 2 hour show that should be 1.5 hrs for a 3 year old but she napped well after. I'll bet Disney makes millions during that perfectly timed intermission! What a treat for us all! I would not take a kid younger than 3 though and pack your lunch! No one even checked the bags. The weekend continued with a great visit my Grandmommy and Grandad. LSU played Alabama so the men went to the game and we played with the kids. Fun times! Monday (Veterans Day) Claire had her friends over from down the street to play a round of Candyland. Not sure if they understand cheating yet, but sure do understand strategy and winning! Later that evening Claire decided to have a little tea party for all her "buddies". Adorable! She was quite the hostess. So we had Disney, Dear (that's what Grandmommy calls Claire sometimes), and Decaf provided by Claire for her stuffed animals.
