The Fall Has Begun

Lots going on here...the leaves changing..kids changing...life changes...Loving the beautiful weather and colors! Jeff had a day off for Fall Break so we loaded up and headed to McWane..it's been a while since we've been but Claire never forgets where all the fun is. It's always interesting to see what grabs her attention! She spent lots of time on puzzles and shapes. McWane is gearing up for the holidays. The Train comes on Nov. 9. Yippee! We even found places for Joel to crawl around and explore McWane. It was a beautiful day for swinging outside...doesn't he look cute balling up in the swing! Claire went through a 3 week phase of not wanting to go to gymnastics but this week she miraculously jumped back in by the grace of God and his mercy of hearing my pleas of what to do to help her through it. That was tough emotionally on me to know she enjoyed it but didn't want to go and was clingy to me. Others say it's typical at 3 to go through these phases...I'm not a fan of these phases! I think we are through it for now until it rolls back again. Learned a lot! Joel is working on feeding himself..check out how he works a banana! Claire has also gotten interested in "tennis". The video is of her hitting a ball back after working with her about 3 times and the last time was about 2 weeks ago. She wanted to show YaYa and Jim her skills. Time change came on Sunday and both seem to have almost adjusted...It doesn't matter how late you put Claire to bed, she's going to wake up at 5:30...AM...that's right! It starts early at our house!
