Resurrection Sunday

Did you ponder much about the Resurrection Sunday? It's hard to make time to in this crazy world we live in where all you hear about and think about is the economy, ending the war on terrorism, the price of oil, catching the pirates, and when, not if, are the taxes going to rise? You know back in Jerusalem, I imagine they had concerns over water availability, clothes for their children, the length of time it took to make bread, would the rains come, and how far could a shekel go? So at the end of the day or at the end of life, what matters anyway? Where is the hope? It's in the fact that the tomb was empty and Christ is risen! We can have intelligent conversation over philosophies and various beliefs and respect of all religions but at the end of that day, the tomb was empty and more than 500 people saw Him with nail marks and the scar on his side. You can take that to the banks that took the bailouts! So as we work hard each day, take out the garbage, get the oil changed and keep the grass mowed, do so with encouragement that there is eternal purpose in day to day living for Christ. On Resurrection Sunday in Charlotte, NC, I gave thanks for hope and purpose and for the gift of a wonderful Husband and family that I married into. Thanks for hosting us Aunt Evelyn and Uncle Bob and to my Parents-in-law: I love you and thank you for your love and support! You are a blessing to me! Spending time with you can be Shear Madness! :))
